About Seasalt Clothing

The launch of the Seasalt brand in 2003 was the result of an interest in sustainable fashion. The family run business was surprised to discover that Soil Association certified organic cotton did not feature in any fashion ranges at the time. They took the decision to design and produce their own unique collection of ethical, sustainable and affordable clothing and their efforts proved to be an instant hit.

The beautiful prints that distinguish the Seasalt clothing range are designed in house and are unique to the Seasalt collection. Capturing the essence of Cornwall and its maritime heritage, the range is notable for its classic stripes, vibrant prints and the cool blues of the ocean. The gorgeous prints celebrate the local wildlife, flora and life by the sea in classic country styles with a contemporary twist. This is clothing which is comfortable and original and yet classically stylish and timeless.

As the company began by selling wet weather gear and work wear it should come as no surprise that Seasalt Clothing is not only stylish but eminently practical too. There is no escaping the fact that it rains a lot in Cornwall and the Seasalt range therefore includes several funky macs and jackets which shield you from the weather without sacrificing style. The Seasalt Seafolly mac in striking poppy is a big favourite here at the Old Byre Showroom and if you love that gorgeous poppy colour then you should also consider the Seasalt Original mac, a signature piece in the range.

The Pears, Killigrew and Greenacres Seasalt dresses feature vibrant prints that are just perfect for fine summer days. The dresses can be teamed up with gorgeous Seasalt cardigans in complimentary shades when there is a chill in the air and the pretty Seasalt scarfs in the collection add texture and interest to your outfits.

The Seasalt range also includes a stylish selection of shirts, tunics, t shirts and socks together with funky Wellington boots and the adorable kids Sleepy pyjamas.
