Origins of the Brand

With so many concerns about the future of our planet and its resources, the level of interest in sustainable fashion is growing fast. Seasalt, however, were ahead of their times and launched the brand in 2003 when there was much less awareness of environmental issues.

The family behind Seasalt had been surprised to discover that Soli Association certified organic cotton was mysteriously absent from fashion collections and so they decided to create their own range. Seasalt was to be an ethical and sustainable label but proved to be much more than that.

Sustainable fashion is an important concept but to be successful it must also be appealing and affordable. This is where Seasalt really made an impression because the clothing that they created was stylish, affordable and earth friendly.
