History of Didriksons
Over a century ago in 1913 the two founders of Didriksons, Hanna and Julius Didrikson, started making garments for fishermen working out of Grundsund, Sweden. Grundsund is located on the western edge of Sweden, an area that is prone to feel the full force of the elements. Working as a fisherman in this challenging environment requires excellent clothing, including coats and jackets, and that is where Didriksons came in.
In time Didriksons expanded their enterprise to include selling functional garments and rainwear to the rest of the Swedish population. With over 100 years of product refinement and innovation under their belt Didriksons clothing continues to help people battle the elements and has become the leading brand for weatherwear, coats and jackets in Scandinavia. Today you can shop for Didriksons in selected stockists globally too, for example with us here in the UK at the Old Byre Showroom.
