Our Aran sweaters also come in the undyed natural colours of Ecru (cream), Limestone (grey) and Gritstone (charcoal brown) and all our Aran sweaters are hand knitted. The Old Byre is situated on the beautiful Isle of Arran off the west coast of Scotland (often referred to as Scotland in Miniature), set on a small farm. It really is in an old cow byre - modified and clean now I'm happy to say! The charm and character of the place is now quite a tourist attraction with the old animal stalls still in evidence.
