Aran Sweaters

All of our Aran sweaters and Aran cardigans are handmade especially for us in Scotland using time-honoured aran knitting patterns. These traditional sweaters are hand-knitted especially for us using undyed wool. The intricate patterns are symbolic of the ropes, cables and nets used for fishing in days gone by. Each unique garment is hand crafted using 100% pure undyed aran weight wool in one of three natural colours, ecru (natural), limestone (grey) and gritstone (charcoal).

Our Aran sweaters and cardigans are hand knitted in traditional Aran patterns in sizes 32" chest to 48" chest. In addition to the extensive selection of Aran sweaters and cardigans we have in stock, we are able to organise special orders for the Aran handknits if you would prefer. We would need your choice of colour in either ecru, limestone or gritstone, your chest measurement, length from neck to hem and length of sleeve from underarm to cuff. For any special order made we would also require a 50% deposit payable at time of order.

All our Aran sweaters and cardigans can be handwashed or dry cleaned.

To safeguard delivery of your Aran handknit we have implemented the following additional postal charges:
Special Delivery Next Day postage for jackets weighing upto 1kg to UK addresses - an additional charge of £3.45 to p+p - £7.70 in total

Standard Parcels Compensation postage for jackets weighing upto 2kg to UK addresses - an additional charge of £2.25 to p+p - £7.66 in total

International Signed For postage for jackets weighing upto 2kg for Europe and Rest of World addresses - an additional charge of £5.90 to p+p
